California 2012 -- #1

NC's sister got married this past August in California.  We decided to take advantage of the event and stay a few days longer and see the sights.  Sights were seen.  Minivan was driven.  Yes, we rented a minivan. Ooof.  Man, they are sure convenient though.  I wouldn't mind driving one - if it didn't look like a minivan.

We got in a day early and luckily stayed at the same hotel as the Grandpa and Grandma Cee.  That made the trip better- even if they were super busy with wedding things.  TeeBee/IC/PC met a new addition to the Cee family - NC's sister became a step-mom so we met Little Annalise.  And they also got the meet our newest bundle of joy, TeeBee.  Well, not so new - it has been almost a YEAR since she moved in.  

Tourist stop #1-- Monterey Bay Aquarium

Awesome!!  So awesome that we continually lost IC all_day_long.  No that wasn't a mistake, yes, I really meant IC - the older one.  Who should sorta know better?  Maybe?  She's a lollygagger at heart, lollying here and there finding joy in all things.  I love this about her, content in her world and able to watch things without feeling the pressure to go go go go go.  This flipped around on us at the Aquarium.  It was us that was moving too slow.  IC would start looking at the tanks with me, then she'd start her process of "drifting". Usually only drifting a spot ahead or so, but as the day progressed - she felt more at ease in the Aquarium, she'd start drifting further and faster.  We'd find her - NC would put on the mad face (yeah, I suck at scolding), she'd cry or feel bad for about 3 minutes.  The cycle repeated all day!
